&lt;p&gt;Ketiga-tiga gegelung itu disusun pada kedudukan berbeza, iaitu &lt;strong&gt;120&amp;deg; antara satu sama lain&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;<br />
&lt;p&gt;Apabila magnet berputar, magnet itu memotong ketiga-tiga gegelung lalu menghasilkan tiga arus ulang-alik:&lt;/p&gt;<br />

&lt;li&gt;Gegelung pertama menghasilkan &lt;strong&gt;Fasa 1&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;<br />

&lt;li&gt;Gegelung ketiga menghasilkan &lt;strong&gt;Fasa 3&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;<br />

&lt;p&gt;Jadi, &lt;strong&gt;satu penjana &amp;rarr; tiga bekalan elektrik fasa&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;<br />
&lt;h3&gt;Bayangkan seperti tiga orang mengayuh basikal&lt;/h3&gt;<br />
&lt;p&gt;Bayangkan tiga orang sedang mengayuh basikal untuk menjana tenaga.&lt;/p&gt;<br />

&lt;li&gt;Orang A mula mengayuh dahulu.&lt;/li&gt;<br />
&lt;li&gt;Orang B mengayuh sedikit lewat.&lt;/li&gt;<br />
